Reporting to the President & CEO, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is holistically responsible for Tourism Victoria’s destination marketing and communications programs and platforms along with destination brand management. As a key member of the executive team, the CMO will lead the Marketing and Communications functions in the design and execution of initiatives that successfully promote Tourism Victoria’s brand and increase revenue, in line with corporate strategic objectives. The CMO will review and assess existing initiatives and programs, leveraging research, analytics and market trends to develop robust digital, content –driven strategies that deliver a measurable ROI.

As the ideal candidate, you are an energetic and entrepreneurial strategic marketing leader, with the ability to convey ideas and implement innovative and effective marketing strategies in a fast-paced, digitally driven environment. You bring a track record of successful brand stewardship and a deep understanding of digital media, as well as the leadership skills to inspire and elevate an already high-functioning and enthusiastic team.

Your extensive marketing experience (10 years +) gained through contributing to the growth of a comparable and recognizable brand, coupled with an education in digital marketing or related field, will complement your creative and results-oriented approach to leadership.
