A Crown corporation with an entrepreneurial spirit, BCLC is seeking a progressive senior leader in the role of CFO and Vice President, Finance & Corporate Services.

Reporting to the President & CEO, the CFO and Vice-President, Finance & Corporate Services is responsible for developing and executing on a strategic vision for Finance and Corporate Services that will support both short-term initiatives and the purpose and long-term strategies of the organization. This role provides innovative oversight for corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, procurement, supplier engagement and contract management and corporate facilities. The CFO and VP, Finance & Corporate Services ensures BCLC meets its reporting and financial commitments to government and regulatory agencies.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and transformational CFO. A change-maker who looks beyond the pure numbers and sees opportunities while working in tandem with the CEO and Executive Team in articulating a path forward. With mandate for facilities, procurement and supplier relations, the chosen candidate will be excellent at managing competing priorities, addressing sustainability issues, and understanding the nuances inherent within a complex, public sector entity. The incumbent will bring 10+ years of senior financial leadership, along with a CPA designation and a proven track record of effectively working with diverse groups toward a shared vision and purpose. Coming into this critical role, the selected individual will pride themselves on meaningful relationship building and intelligent interpersonal skills. Being nimble and always looking for efficiency, opportunity and best-practices will be hallmarks of the incumbent’s success.
