In being present and engaged, the Vice President, People & Culture will provide superior leadership and a truly strategic focus when implementing innovative programs and solutions that enhance the employee experience. Reporting to the President and CEO, the Vice-President, People & Culture works closely with the CEO and Executive team to enact the organization’s social purpose, drive meaningful employee engagement, and support the decisions of the Board.

The Vice President, People & Culture will be sharply focused on providing strategic leadership across all HR functional areas, including leadership and organizational development, health and wellness, diversity and inclusion, social purpose, and employee engagement. The position develops strategies to enhance and foster a healthy, purpose-driven, “One BCLC” corporate culture and works diligently to deliver results, while being an engaged and passionate around the industry leading work that BCLC is undertaking on a corporate level.

An experienced steward of organizational development and culture-shift, the ideal candidate will be recognized as a collaborative, nimble and engaging ‘people-centric’ professional who conveys confidence that HR is attentive and service-focused. The Vice President will be a critical thinker who has demonstrated success building solid relationships with all levels of an organization and will be an agent of change who thrives in a progressive environment. With a demonstrated track record of progressively senior leadership roles and an understanding of social purpose, the Vice President, People & Culture has a reputation for effectively supporting organizational transformation with vibrant creativity.
