The organization has established a leading and highly effective framework that serves as a benchmark for other large and complex organizations, and this is an opportune moment for a new leader to build on the strategic and operational initiatives that have delivered significant results for BCLC. Reporting directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors, the Director, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Services will be responsible for leading, innovating, governing, and managing all aspects of operational and strategic risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and monitoring. In this role, the Director will also lead a small team dedicated to supporting the organization’s risk management objectives. The Director, ERM Services is accountable to the Strategy Committee of the Board of Directors for overseeing all risk management activities, ensuring that BCLC’s risk exposures remain within acceptable limits.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned risk professional with a keen understanding of risk management, bringing forward-thinking expertise to sustain BCLC’s enterprise risk management approach, while ensuring the program continues to evolve with best practices. The Director will have the experience, passion, and drive to maintain a high-performing risk management function. Integrity and credibility are essential, enabling them to quickly earn trust and support across a diverse organizational landscape. Success in this role depends on experience within a large, complex organization and the ability to think strategically. The Director should be an accomplished leader who is comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including the Executive Team and Board of Directors. Superior interpersonal and communication skills, along with a proven ability to foster collaboration, are key qualities for the ideal candidate.
The targeted salary range for this position is $144,228 – $180,285 – $225,356 annually, supplemented by a competitive total rewards package. Our typical hiring range will be +/- 5% of the midpoint shown. Factors influencing this decision include qualifications and market conditions for the role.
