Concert Properties is embarking on a digital transformation and is seeking an innovative IT executive to support this transformation. The VP, Information Systems & Technology (IST) is responsible for leading the execution of Concert’s vision and strategy for information technology that supports the organization’s strategic initiatives. The VP, IST champions the use of information and technology in business model design, and all aspects of the organization’s operations to achieve success in all lines of business. The VP, IST reports directly to the CFO, works closely with the VP, Sustainability, and other Vice Presidents contributing to the business strategy, supporting Concert’s operations, and executing on the decisions of the Board of Directors.
The emphasis of this position will include providing guidance, mentoring and coaching to the team; instilling a service-oriented culture within the group; overseeing the successful and timely release of new technology solutions in order to provide clients with a superior experience; as well as maintaining the back office systems and upgrading critical systems and software which enable business divisions to prosper.
The ideal candidate is an IT professional with strategic agility, change management and people leadership skills who has a reputation for enabling solutions to meet the goals of a service driven organization. An ability to motivate and inspire a team of professionals to higher levels of customer service and achievement while moving forward on strategic organization-wide initiatives will be key to this individual’s success. The VP, IST will possess the passion, knowledge and energy to succeed in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. An ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to executive colleagues around the table, present options supported by sound research and make clear recommendations is critical. Working closely with the executive team, the new VP, IST will understand how to enable the business to transform digitally while thinking innovatively about where real estate is headed in the future.
