Working successfully in a diversified health care environment, being as successful in developing strategies as executing on those plans – and being a result oriented and highly visible leader will be hallmarks of the selected candidate. The candidate will bring proven experience in understanding the financial realities of providing health care in the BC and/or Canadian context. Utilizing and embracing technology and data-informed decision making, the new Interior Health CEO will ensure accountability at all levels of Interior Health and will lead committed team members as they navigate the ever-changing nature of health care in British Columbia. It is a substantial leadership position and needs an individual who can work effectively with the Board in ensuring the mandate of the health authority is delivered.
