The General Sales Manager holds accountability for Pro-Line’s commercial activities and is responsible for optimizing the performance of the company’s eight branches across British Columbia and Alberta. The incumbent will foster a customer service-oriented culture, while continuing to drive, support and enhance organizational performance with a view to ensuring profitability and operational excellence. The General Sales Manager will also work with senior leadership to provide input to the development and implementation of the company’s strategic objectives. In addition, the General Sales Manager will establish meaningful and authentic partnerships with his/her team, peers and colleagues at all levels across the organization.
As the ideal candidate, you are a seasoned sales and business leader with a depth of experience gained within a construction-related field or industrial setting where quality of product and customer service are of paramount importance. Results-focused by nature, you thrive on bringing out the best in your teams through creating structure and accountability, and seeing them achieve their goals through a strong commitment to creating the best possible customer experience. Accustomed to managing teams across multiple sites and geographic locations, you will implement and refine systems, processes and procedures to ensure delivery to the highest standards and against targets, and you will lead by example, encouraging an authentic approach amongst front-line team members and management.
