PFM Executive Search congratulates Dr. Roy Morton on his appointment as the new Vice President, Medicine & Regional Programs for Fraser Health Authority.
Fraser Health Authority (FHA) is one of Canada’s largest and most complex healthcare organizations. PFM Executive Search conducted a national competition with Dr. Morton being named the new V.P. and he commences his duties immediately.
In making the appointment announcement FHA’s CEO, Michael Marchbank said:
“Dr. Morton has been with Fraser Health for more than 20 years. He has been in the role of Interim VP, Medicine and Regional Programs for the last five months. His experience at Fraser Health includes several medical leadership roles and prior to his most recent interim position he was the Executive Medical Director for Programs, Physician Partnerships and Performance.
Dr. Morton has nationally recognized qualifications in Addiction Medicine, and remains on Active Medical Staff in Fraser Health with an ongoing part-time clinical practice at Royal Columbian Hospital. Dr. Morton has well established relationships with the University of British Columbia and other external stakeholders including the College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C. where he previously served as Chair of the College’s Ethics Committee and the Quality of Medical Performance Committee.”
