PFM Executive Search is proud to announce that Gordon Ruth has been appointed as the new B.C. auditor general for local government (AGLG) with a mandate to lead a new, collaborative relationship between local governments across the province and the office.
The appointment is effective Oct. 1, 2015 and will allow for transition from his current position as EVP, Certification & Operations with the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) of British Columbia. Gordon graduated from the University of Victoria and was previously the CFO of Metro Vancouver (GVRD); he brings to the role a unique combination of financial acumen as well as knowledge of local government.
