We are delighted to have been part of the recruitment bringing Owen Davies to PRT Growing Servies Ltd. as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Owen has over 16 years of experience in public accounting, Corporate Finance, and industry, which included building, leading and advising corporations on business improvement, financial planning, expansion and capital market transactions. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting in 1998, and received his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2000.
PRT is North America’s largest producer of container-grown forest seedlings. They have capacity to custom grow more than 180 million seedlings at 13 nurseries located in Canada and the United States.
PRT has established a leadership position in their industry by working closely with their customers and by providing reliable reforestation products and silviculture services at competitive prices. PRT’s silviculture services includes seed processing and specialized seed treatments, forest seedling and non-forestry plant propagation, seedling propagation from somatic embryos, quality testing, cold storage, shipping and tree planting, and field-performance assessment and enhancement.
PRT is more than a forest seedling company. They also grow hybrid starter plants for food crops such as cranberries, raspberries, and energy crops for heat, power and wastewater treatment projects.
