Scott Robinson appointed as new Superintendent at VSB

By PFM Search

Following an extensive national search, which saw applications from senior educators from across Canada. PFM Executive Search assisted the Vancouver School Board in appointing Scott Robinson as its next Superintendent, effective March 1.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to serve as Superintendent of the Vancouver School Board,” said Robinson. “This role is one of enormous responsibility and I plan to continue to be a relentless advocate for the children and families our incredible public school system serves.”

Robinson has been an educator for the past 22 years and has held a wide range of senior educational roles in school districts across Metro Vancouver and at various levels of the K-12 system. Robinson has worked at the Vancouver School District since August, 2012 as an Associate Superintendent. In this role he has been responsible for the educational operations and overall supervision of the district’s 110 elementary and secondary schools. His work has also included supervision of the VSB’s enrollment management process, educational policy reviews and revisions, distributed learning programs, student safety initiatives and International Education program.

PFM was pleased to work with Scott throughout the search process and get to know him as an exceptional candidate for the position. We trust VSB will see great success with Scott’s at the helm.

Congratulations to Scott Robinson and to VSB on a successful conclusion!
