Reporting to the Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Director, Finance is a key leader at the BC Cancer Foundation, responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s financial assets and accounting processes.
The Executive Director leads a team of five Finance staff members, fostering their growth and development while ensuring strong financial stewardship across the organization. This role goes beyond traditional financial management, encompassing fund stewardship, investment oversight, and cash flow planning. The Executive Director also plays a vital role in contributing to strategic discussions at Board committee meetings, including the Finance, Audit, and Investment Committees, and supports the Foundation’s commitment to delivering sophisticated financial reporting and analytics.

You bring a detailed and analytical approach to financial oversight, with experience working within complex and entrepreneurial organizational structures. The targeted salary range for this position is $145,000 to $180,000 annually, supplemented by a competitive total rewards package.
