Established in 2005, LTSA is a publicly accountable statutory corporation responsible for managing, operating, and maintaining British Columbia’s land title and survey systems. These systems provide the foundation for all real property business and ownership in the province, ensuring security, stability, and efficiency in land administration.

Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director, Finance & Corporate Controller (Director) oversees all accounting, financial reporting, and analysis functions. This position has responsibility for the organization’s financial systems, including management of all aspects of the organization’s cash receipts, cash disbursements, banking and investments, capital assets, contract administration, financial analysis, and internal and external financial reporting requirements.

With a team approach and a customer service focus, the Director leads LTSA’s Finance team in delivering efficient and effective financial services in a deadline-driven environment.

The Director, Finance & Corporate Controller is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing core controllership functions, financial reporting, and the preparation of high-quality materials for the Board, Audit & Finance Committee, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings proven experience as a Controller or senior finance leader within a complex, multi-stakeholder organization where they have previously worked cross-functionally with teams such as HR, Legal, and IT. They are confident managing reporting cycles, internal controls, and accounting operations, and bring a thoughtful, hands-on leadership style that supports both performance and professional growth within the team. Highly organized and detail-oriented, they are also an effective communicator—able to present financial information clearly to a variety of audiences. The Director’s professional background, ideally consisting of private sector and Big 4 experience, is augmented by a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. An MBA is an asset.

The targeted salary range for this position is $134,000 – $155,000 annually, supplemented by a competitive total rewards package.
