Reporting to the President and Chief Operating Officer, this key member of the leadership team contributes to the company’s short and long-term financial viability, growth, and performance. The CFO works in partnership with the organization’s executive to provide insights, enable transformation, and build financial capacity across the organization, ensuring data and reports tell the story of what is happening today and what is possible for the future. The CFO will work very closely with the business operators in a complex environment and will lead, develop and mentor their team to support the organization and be trusted partners.
As the ideal candidate, you are a well-rounded senior financial leader who brings a depth of experience, ideally within a multi-site, entrepreneurial organization. You are an exceptional communicator who listens with curiosity, brings confidence yet humility, and an ability to lead transformation in a competitive and complex landscape. You bring the values of community, customer service, trust and respect into everything you do, and you have a reputation for being a strategic finance leader who can work as effectively with senior decision makers as with front line operators. - Proven experience as a leader able to meet the needs of a highly competitive business and embrace change, enabling innovation and adaptability in an ever-changing environment.
- Exceptional communication skills with a wide variety of audiences.
- Strong reporting skills with the ability to provide clarity about the business today along with a picture of future trends and risks.
- Outstanding people leadership and mentorship skills, with a track record of supporting and motivating team members to perform at high levels and become trusted contributors to the business.
- Experience as part of an executive team, providing advice, insights and decision support in a highly operational environment.
- Tech savviness, a track record of embracing emerging technologies such as AI, and an ability to leverage and introduce current and new technology to improve capacity, value, and reliability.
