Reporting to the Principal and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is instrumental in shaping and executing SGC’s operational strategy. This pivotal role involves the optimization of business operations and capitalization of synergies across three distinct entities: Spraggs Law, Spraggs Advisory Group and Spraggs Media. The COO is responsible for driving business growth, ensuring excellence in all professional service offerings, key internal communications, and for the ultimate success of the enterprise. As a trusted resource to the CEO, the COO will work closely with the leadership team to ensure day to day tactical and operational imperatives are consistent with the longer-term strategic vision of SGC, while also establishing commitments from team members across the organization to contribute to this success. The COO will provide strategic leadership for all operations including Finance, Risk Management, HR, IT, Administration, Communications, and entity specific teams to support the SGC mission of high-quality service delivery and unparalleled client focused outcomes.
As a hands-on problem solver and inspirational leader, the ideal candidate will foster and develop collaboration between business units to ensure an integrated approach to meeting the organization’s objectives. By analyzing data and leveraging technology, the incumbent will streamline processes and improve overall decision-making activities to improve quality, output, cost-effectiveness and ultimately profitability. The chosen candidate will understand that success is not just measured by the bottom line, but also in areas of talent management, increased retention and by SGC becoming a magnet for top-talent for future growth. The incumbent will oversee the delivery of progressive, contemporary, results-based people practices that reward innovation, client retention and business growth. Together with the CEO, the ideal candidate will envision a future for SGG and nurture and scale the organization to realize its ambitious goals.
The targeted salary range for this position is $200,000 – $220,000 annually, supplemented by a competitive total rewards package.
