PFM Executive Search strives to support organizations that have a positive impact on society in the local communities we serve. To that end, we’ve been honoured to volunteer at The Salvation Army Harbour Light Centre on a monthly basis throughout 2024 as part of our Social Impact Initiative.
Located in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, Harbour Light has been a place of miracles and new beginnings for 70 years. Its programs and services make up a continuum of care that includes community meals, 24-hour and overnight shelters, withdrawal management (detox), residential addiction treatment, a correctional halfway house, low-income housing, and much more.
PFM’s contribution has been to the Community Meals service, which is a program that provides free, nutritious meals for up to 200 men, women, and children every day of the week. On the third Thursday of every month, PFM team members have been helping to plate and serve meals, greet guests, clear tables, and provide whatever other help we can to ensure the service runs smoothly.
