PFM Executive Search is excited to announce that Christopher Usih has accepted the role of Superintendent of Schools for the Richmond School District, effective from the start of the next school year.
Christopher will be coming to Richmond from the Calgary Board of Education (CBE), where he is serving as the Chief Superintendent of Schools. During his tenure there, he worked with staff and partners to improve academic achievement and created an environment where every student had the opportunity to thrive. Prior to joining the CBE, Christopher spent 27 years with the Toronto District School Board, serving in various roles such as high school math teacher, principal, superintendent of student success, and deputy superintendent.
Christopher is an award-winning educator who holds a master’s degree in education and undergraduate credentials in mathematics and computer science. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in mathematics education at the University of Toronto.
