PFM Executive Search is excited to announce that Laura Kinderman has accepted the role of Dean, Faculty of Business & Professional Studies with Capilano University, effective October 10th.
Laura joins CapU from Queen’s University, where she served in a variety of roles over the past 15 years, most recently as the Assistant Dean of Education Innovation and Online Programs in the Faculty of Law. With a varied teaching background, Laura has taught literature and writing, interprofessional education, teaching and learning in higher education, collaborative practice, and adult basic education. She has published in the areas of research ethics, program development, teaching awards, healthcare quality, and romantic literature. Her expertise as an educator, researcher and educational developer is complemented by the leadership roles she has held at Queen’s University in the Centre for Teaching and Learning, the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Law.
Laura will report to the VP Academic & Provost, and will provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the Schools of Business, Legal Studies and Communications within the faculty.
