PFM Executive Search is excited to announce that BC Pavilion Corporation has appointed Ming Tian as the new Senior Director, Infrastructure & Capital Projects. Ming started his new role on November 1, 2021.
In this key role, Ming will provide leadership to the Capital Projects team and to the organization overall on significant infrastructure and sustainability initiatives. Ming joined BC PavCo recently from the Foothills School Division where he was the Director, Facility Services. Prior roles include Acting Director and Project Manager with the Calgary Board of Education.
Ming brings a passion for continuous improvement with expertise in project management, facility management, sustainability, design, and construction. His professional experience is supplemented with his educational background which includes both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Lean Management Certification. Additionally, he is certified as a professional engineer and he holds certifications with the International Facility Management Association as a Certified Facility Manager and Facility Management Professional, with the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional, along with a LEED AP BD+C credential from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Outside of work, Ming enjoys working in his green garden and travelling to different places around the world. In addition, he is actively involved in volunteering work in his communities.
