PFM Executive Search is pleased to announce the successful completion of the search for the Director, Finance at Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC). Congratulations to Tina Walia, CPA, who will be joining the organization on July 14th.
Tina is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience leading comprehensive finance functions, building high-performing teams, and partnering with executive leaders to drive organizational success. Her background includes public practice with Grant Thornton, as well as senior finance leadership roles with organizations including TI Corp and, most recently, Atomic Cartoons Inc. She brings expertise across full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, payroll, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
Throughout the search process, Tina demonstrated the collaborative leadership style, strategic mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement that EGBC was seeking. We are confident she will make a significant contribution as she leads the Finance Department and partners across the organization to support its important public protection mandate.
