Cameron Brine – Vice President, People & Organization Development of Fraser Health Authority

PFM Executive Search is pleased to welcome Cameron Brine as the new Vice President, People & Organization Development for Fraser Health Authority (FHA), one of the largest health care organizations in Canada.

Reporting directly to the CEO of FHA, Michael Marchbank, Cameron brings specific experience in developing and implementing strategies to enhance leadership capacity in large organizations and creating a culture of performance with an emphasis on learning and continuous improvements.

Cameron comes to FHA following a national search conducted by PFM Executive Search from his role as Executive Director, People & Culture at Vancouver Coastal Health. Over the last five years in that role Cameron developed and implemented the BC Physician Leadership Program in partnership with the health authorities, led the development of an HR metrics dashboard in support of workforce optimization, implemented a new performance planning process and system and developed new competencies and built a full suite of talent management programs to support those competencies at Vancouver Coastal.

Cameron has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Business Administration. He has spent 10 years in Crown corporations plus the private sector supporting strategic human resources in areas such as disability management, learning & development and diversity.

Linda Dempster – Vice President, Patient Experience for Fraser Health Authority

PFM Executive Search has recently completed the national search for the newly created role of Vice President, Patient Experience at Fraser Health Authority, one of Canada’s largest healthcare organizations.

Linda Dempster will be commencing this inaugural position on December 1st and in making the announcement, Fraser Health CEO, Michael Marchbank said “…she is well known as a champion of clinical quality and patient safety. In fact, until a recent move to Alberta to act in a Vice President role, for 12 years Linda was the Executive Director, Clinical Quality and Patient Safety, and Infection Control, with Vancouver Coastal Health.”

Michael went on to say “Linda comes back to BC from Alberta Health Services, where she was the Vice President, Collaborative Practice, Nursing and Health Professions. In this role she worked to improve the quality of care and to produce positive patient outcomes. Her role included responsibility for resources and support to enhance professional practice and education. She was also accountable for clinical workforce planning and workforce optimization.”

“Linda is a nurse who began her career 33 years ago at Vancouver General Hospital. She brings extensive knowledge of dynamic clinical environments to her new role. Michael Marchbank – CEO, Fraser Health Authority

PFM Executive Search is pleased to have been engaged by the Board of Fraser Health Authority in the search and selection process for the organization’s new President & CEO, Michael Marchbank.

Fraser Health Authority, serving more than 1.6-million people in the region through its 12-acute care hospitals and a range of other programs and facilities, is one of the largest healthcare providers in Canada.  It has an annual operating budget of $3.3-billion and employs 22,000 staff, 2,500 physicians and 6,500 volunteers.
