Paul McKenzie – Superintendent of Schools – qathet School District (SD47)

PFM Executive Search is excited to announce that Paul McKenzie has accepted the role of Superintendent of Schools with the qathet School District (SD47) effective April/2024.

Paul brings over 30 years of experience in public education, with an extensive background in leadership across multiple districts. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Superintendent in the Saanich School District, where he focused on developing school plans that align with the district’s strategic priorities, including the First Peoples Principles of Learning. His efforts have strengthened relationships between schools and communities through parent engagement and support for student success initiatives. Paul has also overseen key district operations such as staffing allocations, curriculum renewal, and technological advancements aimed at enhancing student engagement.
