Jennifer Lawrence – Chief Executive Officer & Registrar – British Columbia Institute of Agrologists

PFM Executive Search is excited to announce the appointment of Jennifer Lawrence, as the new Chief Executive Officer and Registrar of the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists (BCIA), effective October 7th, 2024.

With a strong background in regulatory, governance and operational excellence, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of values-based leadership driving innovation and growth.

Jennifer served in a number of executive leadership roles, where she demonstrated excellence in strategic planning, culture and people development, fiscal management, board governance, legislative relations, and policy analysis. As Registrar/CEO of the College of Dental Hygienists of BC for 15 years, Jennifer notably led the College through a period of extensive growth and successful transformation.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria, Masters of Arts degree in Executive Leadership from Royal Roads University, and a certificate in Strategic Management of Regulatory and Enforcement Agencies from the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors with her family and rescue dog.

In this new role, Jennifer will be instrumental in leading BCIA’s strategic direction and continuing its mission and duty as a regulatory body. “I am honoured to be joining the BCIA at such a transformative time and being able to contribute through my leadership purpose that envisions new possibilities and empowers a team to achieve that vision through values that include adaptability, enthusiasm, integrity, balance, collaboration, and innovation”.

Wendi has built an impressive career spanning over 30 years, taking on a variety of leadership roles. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, she has served Audit and Tax clients, led internal teams in Human Resources and Marketing, and for the past decade, she has focused on national Strategy and Markets with KPMG.

Beyond her professional achievements, Wendi has been deeply involved in her community. She has served on the boards of the BC/Yukon Region of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Vancouver International Marathon Society. Wendi is a longtime supporter of JABC and is committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of young people across British Columbia.

Sandra Phillips – Chief Executive Officer – Modo

PFM Executive Search is excited to announce that Sandra Phillips has accepted the role of Chief Executive Officer with Modo effective October 1st/2024.

Sandra has been an international leader in shared and urban mobility since 2010, making a significant impact through her leadership and vision. She’s been involved in over 80 global projects, all of them aimed at building healthier communities by expanding transportation options and reducing reliance on private car ownership.

Sandra’s contributions to shared mobility have earned her a TED talk, a Clean50 award, and the 2021 Change Maker Award from BCBusiness. She’s also been recognized as a Shared Mobility Expert by the Canadian Council of Academies and is a part-time lecturer at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
