Dr. Andrew Deonarine – Medical Lead, Informatics – Northern Health

Prior to joining Northern Health, Andrew was the Clinical Data Scientist and Head of Data Engineering with a start-up organization in Cambridge, Massachusetts called XY.ai. Andrew has an impressive combination of clinical and informatics expertise, and his educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions including Western University, the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, the University of Cambridge, and Harvard Medical School. Angela Chirinian – Chief Human Resources Officer – BC Securities Commission

Angela joined the Commission from Electronic Arts, where she was a Strategic Operations Consultant. Claire Cobden – Chief Financial Officer – COWI North America

PFM Executive Search excited to announce that Claire Cobden has joined COWI North America as their new Chief Financial Officer.

A chartered professional accountant (CPA) and chartered financial analyst (CFA), Claire has senior leadership experience across multiple industries. She joins COWI from BlueShore Financial, where she served as vice-president (VP) and treasurer, responsible for investment management, trading and strategic financial planning.

Cobden has also worked with KPMG, UBS, Gateway Casinos and Entertainment and MacDonald Dettwiler & Associates (MDA) before it became part of Maxar Technologies. She was named among British Columbia’s Most Influential Women in Finance in 2019 and sits on the board of CFA Society Vancouver.

Salman Shahid – Director of Architecture – University of British Columbia

Salman will lead the development of UBC’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) operating model, building a team of Enterprise Architects, Solutions Architects and an EA Practice to ensure alignment of UBC’s technology roadmaps with Digital UBC, the Institution’s Digital Strategy.
