Colleen Turner – VP, Strategic Partnerships & Innovation – Greater Victoria Harbour Authority

PFM Executive Search is excited to announce that Colleen Turner has accepted the role of Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Innovation with the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority effective July 2nd/2024.

Most recently, Colleen was the Vice President, Community Engagement and Communications for the Alberta Health Services during the pandemic and led a team of 120 professionals responsible for community engagement, foundation relations/fund development, government relations, and strategic communications. She started her professional career as a journalist, then transitioned to more senior roles including as the Assistant Editor of a major city newspaper. Collen then pivoted towards leadership roles in the academic and health services sectors, leading small and large communications teams. She holds two Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and French Literature), and a Master of Education (Leadership). She is an accredited Business Communicator through the International Association of Business Communicators.

Caroline is excited to be joining the Squamish Nation as the Executive Director of Corporate Services. For over 30 years she has worked in leadership roles in community based social service organizations, which have supported a variety of vulnerable and marginalized people including services to support those with diverse abilities, brain injury, mental health and addiction, unemployment, youth in conflict with the law, children in need of protection, families affected by violence and homeless youth.

Shezana Hassko – Vice President, Engineering – Translink

PFM Executive Search is excited to announce that Shezana Hassko has accepted the role of Vice President of Engineering with Translink effective May 6th/2024.

Shezana’s TransLink Enterprise career began in 2015, when she joined Coast Mountain Bus Company as a Transit Engineer. In 2017, she moved to TransLink and has since held the titles of Project Manager II – MRN/Cost Share Program, Director of Infrastructure Programs, and most recently, Acting Vice President of Engineering.

With over 15 years of industry experience, Shezana is a proven transportation leader with exceptional project management skills. She was responsible for the implementation of TransLink’s multimodal mandate on cycling, walking, roads, bridges, and goods movement initiatives, and has also played key leadership roles in our Local Government Funding Programs, the customer washroom project, rail expansion projects such as OMC4, and upgrades at Columbia, Brentwood, Gilmore, and Capstan stations. Shezana is committed to delivering transportation excellence to our region.
