Greg Martyn – Chief Administrative Officer – Provincial Health Services Authority

PFM Executive Search is excited to announce that Greg Martyn has accepted the role of Chief Administrative Officer – Research with Provincial Health Services Authority effective November 4th/2024

Greg is well-known to the research community, having served eight years as the executive director of the Vice President, Research & Innovation Portfolio at the University of British Columbia. Prior to working at UBC, Greg was the director of operations at the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (now Michael Smith Health Research BC).  Before coming to Vancouver in 2013, Greg served as the administrative lead for the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow Project, the largest population cohort ever created in Canada.

As CAO – Research, Greg will support the Research and Academic Development Committee of the PHSA Board in its oversight and governance of all PHSA-related research and student education, leading organization-wide strategic planning related to research and student education, and leading activities to strengthen, standardize, and align research and student education platforms, processes, and policies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Kristy Anderson – Chief Health Improvement Networks – Provincial Health Services Authority

This is a new role, created to establish and sustain effective service delivery models for the health improvement networks and related contracted provincial services.

Kristy has been with the Ministry of Health since 2011, in a variety of senior leadership roles: from communications director to executive director of the Access and Wait Time branch to her current role of assistant deputy minister, Hospital and Provincial Health Services Division.  During her 13 years with MOH, she has developed and implemented successful strategic plans in B.C.’s health system, bringing creative and innovative solutions to improve the delivery of health care to people across the province.
