Shelina Esmail

Shelina is an Equity Partner with PFM Executive Search. Having joined the firm in 1998, she has more than 25 years of experience in executive recruitment and holds responsibility for developing business, managing the search process, assessing candidates and working directly with clients. Shelina is currently the Co-Chair of the Global Healthcare Practice Group for Panorama Search Partners International.

A UBC alumna, Shelina holds an Economics degree and a diploma in Urban Land Economics and is a dedicated community volunteer. Shelina currently sits on the Board of Junior Achievement of BC and the Board of UBC Foundation. Most recently she served for six years on the Alumni UBC Board where she Chaired the Governance and Nominating Committee, and served on the UBC Alumni Achievement Awards Committee and the Advocacy Committee. In addition, she has been part of the Health Employers Association of BC judging panel for the BC Health Care Awards and volunteered her time to the Tri-Mentoring Program at UBC. Her past volunteer work has included Canuck Place, the Aga Khan Foundation and the Ismaili Community.
