Shaun Carpenter

Shaun Carpenter has been a valued member of the PFM Executive Search team since 1998. Well respected for his expertise in candidate development and client relations, Shaun is known for his thorough and insightful approach that gives clients confidence their search needs are being managed with professionalism and care. His perspective is further informed by prior experience as a Human Resources Manager with a leading Canadian health insurance provider, giving him a deep understanding of the client experience in executive recruitment.

Shaun holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and has served on several professional boards, including the Chartered Professionals of Human Resources (CPHR) and the Americas Council of the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC).

Together with his wife, Tracey, Shaun is actively involved in volunteer work and fundraising initiatives supporting the Heart and Acute Medical Unit at BC Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Heart Network. He proudly leads corporate fundraising efforts for the Triple Crown for Heart charity ride; a unique cycling challenge to conquer all three North Shore mountains (Seymour, Grouse, and Cypress) in a single day. The event raises funds for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation to help ensure children with heart conditions and their families can attend camp each summer.
