Cameron Wilson

Senior Consultant

Cameron brings more than 10 years of executive search and leadership recruitment experience across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. He has led senior executive and director level searches and works closely with Boards, CEOs and Search Committees to define leadership requirements, assess candidates and make strategic leadership decisions.

Prior to joining PFM, Cameron worked with a national governance advisory firm, specializing in CEO and Board Director recruitment and executive evaluation. Earlier in his career, he worked with a global executive search and leadership consulting firm, supporting senior-level searches across a range of sectors and geographies. Cameron also served in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada as Advisor and Deputy Director of Public Appointments. In this role, he advised the Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials on executive recruitment, succession planning and talent strategy, and led appointment processes for senior leadership and governance roles across federal Crown corporations, agencies and other public institutions.

Cameron holds a Master of Political Management from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia. He serves on the Board of the Vancouver International Children’s Festival and is a member of the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation’s Charity Golf Classic Committee.
